Charity Events

One of our business objectives at El-Nashar Dental Care is to support various charities throughout the year. In 2007 so far we have supported the following charities:

	Presenting the cheque for £305 to Devon Air Ambulance after the Sponsored Slim

Devon Air Ambulance - through a sponsored slim we raised £305.00

Families for Children - we held two raffles at our open evenings, plus a donation from the surgery amounted to £300.00

Macmillan Cancer Support- we participated in a fund raising ball

Children of Chernobyl and Childrens Hospice South West - 17 adults and 2 dogs completed a 13 mile sponsored walk on 14th October, we are still collecting monies in but will definetely reach £1000.00 which will be split between the two charities.

Within the practice throughout the year we have a collection box for Rowcroft Hospice and have just added another box for Lifeline Resources. We recycle all our printer cartridges which means a donation of £1.00 for each cartridge is given to Childline.

This year we are also selling at the Reception Desk, cards and wrapping paper 10% of which goes to Rowcroft Hospice.
